Announcing the Opening of the 2017 Sequoia House Chapbook Prize

I would like to announce a wonderful new opportunity for any who are interested. If you have a short work you would like to publish—20 to 40 pages in length—you now have the opportunity to do so with the Sequoia House Chapbook Prize.

The prize is open to all genres (poetry, short story, nonfiction, journalism, photography, personal history, recipe book, visual art, comic book, etc.) and to all people. The winner will be published as an artistically crafted chapbook, distributed online and in San Francisco Bay Area bookstores, and publicized through various channels, including one or more public readings in the Bay Area. However, don’t let any of the Bay Area specific references deter you. Indeed, the Bay Area is a large and thriving cultural region, but the prize is open to all people, no matter where they may be situated.

I encourage you to find out more about Sequoia House and the Sequoia House Chapbook Prize.
